Thank you for applying for the first Atlas scholarship! This scholarship will be an award of $100 off the fee for initial certification as an Atlas Certified Team.  The scholarship is possible due to a fundraiser by Molly Neher and Lea Lawrence of Dogs with a Job as well as private donations from a number of different supporters.

Dogs with a Job Scholarship

In order to apply, you must be an active Atlas client. We ask that you submit a short paragraph, minimum of six or seven sentences, explaining how your assistance dog will or already has helped you regain aspects of your daily life that are important to you, as well as how your Atlas Team Facilitator has helped and supported you throughout your training process. We would like to share your success with the community by adding your story to our website and social media pages. By applying, you agree to let us use part or all of your story in official Atlas publications. You may remain anonymous if you choose, and that will have no impact on the awarding of the scholarship.

You may apply as early as four months before you and your team facilitator think you will be ready to take your public access test (PAT), but no later than two months before your PAT. If you are selected, the award will not expire unless you become inactive (no sessions with your trainer for more than 90 days).

We would appreciate having a photo of your team. You or your team facilitator can email us a picture once you have been awarded the scholarship, if you agree.

To apply, please click on the button below.  You will be provided with a simple form to complete and email to Atlas. If you have any questions, please email

Thank you for being part of Atlas Assistance Dogs!
